Since we don't offer a program of our own, the structure of the silence — when it begins, when it ends, any exceptions — is entirely up to you as the facilitator. We make sure the location itself doesn't interfere: no check-in conversation in the middle of a silent period, no unplanned disruptions.

Meals During the Silent Period
Many silent retreats keep silence through meals as well. Since every apartment has its own kitchen, that's easy to accommodate — participants can retreat on their own instead of sitting together at a noisy dining table, if that fits your concept.
