Activities at Johann & Anna
No animation program, no schedule – but a house from which a lot is reachable on foot or within a few minutes. What you make of it is up to you.

Some guests arrive with a clear plan – yoga mat packed, hiking route already picked out. Others decide once they're here. Both work: Johann & Anna doesn't run its own program, but provides the setting for either to happen on its own.
Movement: Yoga & Meditation
Bring your own mat and there's enough room in the garden by the Stainzbach for a sun salutation before the day begins. If you're after stillness rather than movement, the same house offers that just as readily. More on yoga · More on meditation

Outdoors: Hiking, Cycling & Golf
The vineyards around Stainz can be explored on foot or by bike without needing a fixed destination – a viewpoint, a wine tavern, or just a ride with no clock in mind. If you prefer something more focused, several golf courses are within easy reach. More on hiking · More on cycling · More on golf

Indulgence: Wine Tasting in the Schilcher Region
The Schilcher region lives on a wine barely known outside Styria. Tasting it doesn't require a long drive – the nearest wine tavern is often just a short trip away. More on wine tasting

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a fixed activity program?
No. Johann & Anna isn't a hotel with an activities team – the activities listed here are self-guided, many of them reachable right from the house.
What if a whole group wants to do yoga or meditation together?
Then it's worth a look at our retreat location – you bring your own yoga teacher or coach, we provide the setting.
Do I need to bring equipment?
For yoga and hiking, yes (a mat, or suitable footwear); for cycling and golf, a quick inquiry beforehand about current rental options in the region is a good idea.
